Common Causes of Hair Loss

Medications. The side effects of certain pharmaceuticals and medical treatments can cause hair loss.

Stress. Chronic stress and sudden shock can flood your body with cortisol, leading to hair loss. 

Genetics. Yes, genetics CAN play a role. However, think of it this way: Genetics can load the gun, but your lifestyle choices pull the trigger. 

Chemicals. Hair dyes, perming and straightening solutions, and shampoos loaded with dangerous chemicals damage your hair follicles and eventually make them so weak your hair just falls out.
