Gut Health & Acid Reflux Myths…Busted!

I’m just going to be straight to the point—a LOT of what you have been told your whole life is completely inaccurate—and it may be destroying your gut health!

Below are a few shocking 🤯 truths that I am in a plain and simple way so they stick with you for the rest of your life. 

You may just discover something monumental that changes everything for your health, so buckle up because it will be a wild ride.

  1. You are NOT what you eat.

Yep, that’s right, the age-old adage is a myth. 

Here’s the truth that you all must know: You are what you DIGEST, ABSORB, and assimilate. 

You could be eating veggies all day, but if your body can NOT digest, absorb, and assimilate them, then it’s like you never ate a vegetable at all. THIS is why gut health is absolutely critical because a damaged gut that is low in acid can NOT digest, absorb, and assimilate nutrition. 

If that is confusing, let me explain: Old age and eating a terrible diet prevents your body from producing the right amount of hydrochloric acid levels in your stomach. When the stomach doesn’t produce enough acid, food sits longer, ferments, and creates a gas that pushes stomach contents up into the esophagus, causing bloating, indigestion, acid reflux, etc.

NO, there is nothing “free” about gluten-free. When manufacturers take the gluten out, the food tastes like cardboard, so they pump it with sugar and artificial ingredients that damage your gut and cause you to feel bloated and gain weight. 

Therefore, you want to swap out wheat and rye for gut-nourishing options such as quinoa (which is a seed), wild rice, or another one of my favorite carbs.
