
A (healthy) summer treat that kids will love as much as adults. Shh...don’t tell anyone that it’s sugar and dairy-free—they will only notice the delicious chocolate-banana fro-yo combo.
Indulge your sugar cravings and satisfy your body with superfoods all at the same time. Now, that’s my kind of summer-time delight.
Ingredients: (Serves 2)
- 2 bananas, peeled and frozen
- 3 tablespoons of raw cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon raw almond butter
- 1⁄4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds, for topping
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds, for topping
Directions:
- Place bananas and cacao into the blender and blend while slowly adding the almond milk until you have the consistency of frozen yogurt. (You might not use all 1/4 cup of almond milk.)
- Sprinkle the chia and chia seeds on top.
- Dig in and delight—easy as 1, 2, 3.
