- First thing in the morning, before you put anything in your mouth or brush your teeth, fill a clear glass with room-temperature filtered water.
- Work up a bit of saliva, spit it into the glass of water, and set it aside.
- After 30 minutes (up to an hour), return to the glass and investigate.
- Pay close attention to the strings (fibers) traveling from the saliva floating on the top and making their way down the glass. Do they look like cloudy specks/particles suspended in the water? Can you see cloudy saliva that sinks to the bottom of the glass?
If you can see any of the above, you have a candida problem.
