What Causes a Hangover?

What if I told you that enjoying a few (not a 6-pack) of your favorite alcoholic beverages is totally fine and won’t lead to the dreaded hangover, acid reflux, indigestion, grogginess, etc., the next day?

The acid in alcohol also interferes with brain activity, leading to sleep deprivation. You may fall asleep faster after drinking alcohol, but the sleep is fragmented. You never reach the deep REM cycle state needed to feel energized the next day.
