Ginger Detox Tea

My Ginger Detox Tea is a healing elixir for this time of year: chilly evenings and the dreaded “sick season.”

Ginger is a Detox Superfood that is massively anti-inflammatory—AND antibacterial, antiviral, and antimicrobial! Germs and illnesses do not stand a chance.

Even more, ginger increases the production of gastric juices, which can increase nutrient absorption. The more efficiently your digestive system works, the more toxins it eliminates! Ginger will honestly be your magical superpower this winter.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces peeled fresh ginger, coarsely chopped
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons Manuka Honey (Another powerful healer—Google its benefits!)

Directions: Slow Cooker Option. Makes 16 cups of tea.

  1. Put the ginger in your slow cooker.
  2. Cover with water.
  3. Turn the slow cooker on "low" and leave overnight (6 to 8 hours).
  4. In the morning, pour the ginger concentrate into mason or other storage jars and store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  5. To make ginger tea, add 1 tablespoon of the ginger concentrate to 1 cup of hot water.
  6. Add lemon juice or honey to taste.
  7. Sip in and breathe deeply.

Directions: Kettle Option. Makes 16 cups of tea.

  1. Bring the water to a boil in the kettle.
  2. Place ginger in a mug and add the boiling water.
  3. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Add lemon juice or honey to taste.
  5. Sip in and breathe deeply.

Another critical component to staying healthy and happy this winter is Acid-Kicking Vitamin D3+K2.

During the dark, cold winter months, your body’s immune and nervous systems desperately need extra Vitamin D to shield you from physical and mental illness.

My blend is created for maximum bioavailability, ensuring optimal absorption and use of both critical vitamins.
