Winter Superfood Porridge

Warm up your family and energize them for the day ahead with this cozy, crave-able, and fulfilling superfood porridge. It’s super low in sugar (unlike the boxed options at the store) and packed with healthy fats, protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals! 

It will quickly become a family favorite, and you will love how quick and easy it is to make.

Ingredients (Serves 2)

1/2 cup rinsed quinoa
1 15oz can coconut milk (I recommend Native Forest, full fat)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. chia seeds
1 tbsp. sliced raw almonds

Directions

Combine all ingredients except almonds and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
Sprinkle with almonds.

Optional: Add chopped banana slices, pomegranates, or whatever else you want!

That’s honestly all you have to do.
