Juniper & Joy: The Alkaline Secret to an Acid-Free Valentine’s Toast

Yep, me—Dr. Daryl, celebrity nutritionist and gut health specialist—is telling you to conjure a spirited creation for your ginuine love this Valentine’s Day! Let me explain…

The Science of Alcohol (& Love!)

Gin is my go-to choice for a health-conscious drink or two. The Juniper hooch is the least acidic liquor, with a pH of 7, unlike wine and beer, 3 and 4 on the scale. The closer you are to neutral, the gentler it is on your stomach and tomorrow’s hangover.

Ideally, you want to focus on foods and drinks in the “alkaline” section because those will fuel your body for optimal health. However, on special nights, neutral is just fine.

Gin = My True (Liquor) Love

Let me gush a bit…

Gin contains no sugar, crucial for avoiding the harmful effects of blood sugar spikes and minimizing inflammation—the root of most diseases and illnesses.

It’s also worth your ginvestment (lame joke, yay or nay?!) because gin is traditionally distilled with juniper berries and other antioxidant-rich and anti-inflammatory ingredients like coriander and licorice.

These antioxidants strengthen cells, improve blood flow, and aid in removing toxins from the gut, supporting overall digestive health. Juniper berries are also known to combat oxidative stress and improve skin health.

Ladies, the choice is clear—break up with toxic GMO wheat and sugar beer and say I Do to sugar-free and botanically rich gin!

However, if you can’t just gin and bear it…and must have your wine time, I created this magical bottle that neutralizes acid in any alcoholic or soda drink.

Acid-Kicking Alcohol Alkalizer

It was a labor of love, but now you can enjoy your favorite drink without the reflux, bloating, indigestion, and hangovers.

Acid-Kicking Alcohol Alkalizer is the bring-with-you-anywhere acid neutralizer that is small enough to fit in your pocket yet big enough to crush inflammatory acid in 40 drinks.

Cheers to a love that still feels good the morning after!
