Chunky Monkey Smoothie

This smoothie is the ultimate trickster. It has a kid-approved milkshake taste—but it’s made with antioxidants and superfoods like kale, chia seeds, and raw cacao.

This “chunky monkey” is a shining example of how delectable eating The Alkamind Way can taste. Just like all of my recipes, it’s also super easy to make.

Ingredients: (Serves 1)

  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 banana, peeled and frozen
  • 1/2 cup kale
  • 2 tablespoons raw almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 5 mint leaves (optional)

Directions:

  1. Blend.
  2. Watch your family devour their new favorite “dessert.”
