What fall flavors do you love?

For some, it’s pumpkin spice. For others, it’s thyme and rosemary. For me, it’s apples and cinnamon. Is there anything more delicious?

Today’s recipe features my favorite fall flavors. This is like apple pie for breakfast! But better because you’ll be energized and feeling awesome from the fresh greens, fruit, and healthy fats we combine.

I prefer to use a green apple in this recipe because it’s plenty sweet already from the frozen banana. Another option would be to leave out the banana altogether, and freeze Honeycrisp or Gala apple chunks to use instead.

I would love to tell you more about how delicious this smoothie is, and how awesome it is for you, but now I’m craving apple cinnamon and I’m going to go make myself one of these right now! Trust me, you’re going to love it.

APPLE CINNAMON BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE

Ingredients [Serves 2]:

2 cups fresh spinach
2 cups coconut milk, unsweetened
1 green apple
1 banana, frozen
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tbsp. flax seeds
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Blend ingredients on high for a minute or so and enjoy!
