Deep inhale and exhaaalleeee. Ok, you have almost made it through January, the most challenging part of winter. The holiday lights have dimmed, and the cold has really set in. 

Give yourself a hug, and celebrate all that you have accomplished—the big, small, and all the daily things.

Now, it’s time to step it up—just a bit.

Below are three strategic yet simple ACTIONS you can take that will dramatically improve how you feel, function, and move through life. Commit to doing one (or all three!). You got this.

Swear off seed oils.

This one is as simple as buying avocado, coconut, olive oil, and ghee at the store. All of these are brain-boosting and provide endless health BENEFITS.

However, seed oils (soybean, sunflower, canola, rapeseed, safflower, corn, grapeseed, cottonseed, and rice bran) are some of the WORST things you can put in your body.

Here’s why: Tobacco fields that used to grow lung cancer have been replaced with SEED OILS THAT ARE MORE TOXIC THAN TOBACCO and drive up MASSIVE amounts of inflammation in the body. 

They are a major contributor of heart disease, depression, obesity, cancer, and even dementia and Alzheimer’s.

This is because soybeans and seed oils profoundly affect your brain's hypothalamus, disrupting over 100 genes, including body weight, mood, and hormone regulators.

Focus on flexibility. 

Stretching is a sneaky stress buster and feels like giving your muscles and mind a warm, grateful hug. Just a few minutes of stretching can feel like hitting the "refresh" button on your body and mind, leaving you a little looser, a little lighter, and ready to tackle whatever comes next in your day. 

Stretching can happen anytime, anywhere. You don’t need to make a whole thing of it by putting on yoga clothes and getting your mat out. Just spend a few minutes moving and streettcchhhing your body and opening your heart and mind.

Your mind can’t function how it was designed to if it’s starving for nutrition.
